11/4/12 Maggie has been in rescue one year now. We learned about her fate at the local kill shelter after she had been adopted out and returned three times. We decided her only chance would be with a rescue who knows Poodles and could try to find a home who although aware of her issues was still willing to give her a try, an experienced, loving home, not just someone with the said adoption fee in hand; which is what she was subjected to three times at the kill shelter. She is a sweet girl who is no trouble. She likes to play with other dogs but she is still spooked by new people. She very much likes her foster mom and follows her everywhere. Maggie is spayed, received a dental cleaning, microchipped, vaccinated including rabies, parasite free, heartworm negative, on prevention, on flea/tick prevention and house trained. A very shy little girl who is going to take some time to learn not all people are bad. She has lived an abused life-that is obvious. Experienced adopters who like hard cases and enjoy the reward of working with these type dogs are encouraged to inquire or apply. Discount fee for Seniors. Adoption fee $150. All of our pets are spayed or neutered, vaccinated including rabies, parasite free, heartworm negative or treated if needed, on prevention, on flea/tick prevention. Most are house trained.
