ADOPTED10/20/14 46 pound 18 month old girl. She is a sweetheart but like s to hunt and retrieve, no cats or small dogs unless experienced with a nosy Standard. Knows sit, come, stay, no, leave it , shake and load up for getting in the car. Loves car riding, retrieving, anything that squeaks, head rubs, snuggling, and running. Baylee is nicknamed Legs at her foster home. Needs a fenced yard for running, Very active, will aggravate small or senior dogs. A retriever who drops at your feet, make a great agility dog. Very high prey drive and will run/chase rabbits, squirrels, birds, deer until she is satisfied, unsafe without a fence and or some intense obedience training. She is very tall and very fast, she loves to run wide open. Needs a large yard for running or a jogging buddy. Super sweet, lovable, obedient girl. High prey drive, chases cats, small squirrels, rabbits, some small dogs etc...loves water, loves to retrieve and car ride. Gorgeous copper eyes, not needy just a sweet girl. Loves to pal around with other standards. Still a puppy at heart and can play rough, not a good match for senior dogs or small dogs. Baylee is an owner surrender on 4/30/14.Her mom is a Goldendoodle and her dad a Standard. She began having problems and issues (mainly loose stools) after the birth of a baby in the family. Her people spent a lot of money and went to great lengths to avoid placing her. Our vet placed her on an anti inflamatory for 30 days, a hypo allergenic diet and she was wormed even though she tested negative. She is off all of the meds, on a high end food (contains no grain, sweet potatoes or pumpkin) that foster mom feeds her Standards and she has no further symptoms or loose stools. She is maintaining her weight. Our Doctor believes it was possibly a parasite (whipworms).Dogs can test negative and still have them. At any rate he says she in no way has IBS which is what he suspected in the beginning. She is ready for her forever home and has a clean bill of health. She is well trained and intelligent. She loves to run, a great jogging partner or agility dog. She is spayed, vaccinated including rabies, parasite free, heartworm negative, on prevention, on flea/tick prevention, micro chipped, house trained. Comes when called, sits on command, shakes.
